Dr. Mark Toci has been a multiply certified award-winning teacher since 1992. In 1998, Dr. Toci co-founded the Centre Learning Community Charter School as a project-based and technology-supported middle school. Since then, Dr. Toci has developed and implemented hundreds of projects in his classroom. In 2000, Dr. Toci received his Ph. D. from the Pennsylvania State University in Instructional systems with a focus on systemic change and project-based learning. Dr. Toci continues to teach at CLC and provide training in project-based learning and the development of complex and powerful learning environments. Raisa Silva Gray joined the faculty of Centre Learning Community in 2010. During her career as a CLC educator, she has created many complex and immersive projects. In early 2019, Gray began her doctoral studies in Educational Leadership and Comparative International Education at Penn State. Gray’s pedagogical interests are centered around student autonomy, inquiry, authenticity, collaboration, and reflection. Her current research focuses on technology-supported and project-based learning environments and their impact on the academic performance of learners from racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse backgrounds. |
